Tudor Black Bay 54 This is the new small sporty "it" watch.
Tudor Biwan Fifty-Four is a watch that I have been waiting for unknowingly since I entered the watch world. Let me explain because if you know me and have only a basic idea of my taste in watches, my notion of wanting a modern Tudor is far from reality. So while I'm not necessarily waiting for a 37mm Tudor dive watch to drop from watch heaven, I'm hoping for a modern tool watch that meets my (what I think) not particularly demanding requirements: solid, sporty looking, 36mm diameter -38mm- The most important part: Well designed and cool enough to look good enough for me to really consider wearing it outside the office or anywhere that isn't a watch activity.
I've never had any emotional attraction to modern Tudors. I've always found it very off-limits. A guy who really likes to use his tool watch as prescribed. No charm, no energy. While the BB58 (39mm) is an excellent multipurpose watch, it's too large for my liking. I can't personally be partial to the BB58, though I know it's an excellent choice for other women looking for similar athletic satisfaction.
